The Girl in the River (2026)
Twin teenage sisters are abducted from a remote Mississippi town, but only one of them is found—her body recovered from the river—while the other remains missing. Veteran criminologist Alan Kramer is brought in to investigate, working alongside young forensic psychologist Amelia Pembrock and under the pressure of Police Captain Erica Graysmith. What initially appears to be a local kidnapping soon turns into something far more disturbing as the investigation uncovers clues pointing toward a highly calculated predator. With the town consumed by fear and suspicion, Kramer and Pembrock begin studying the killer’s behavior and searching for patterns that could lead them to the missing girl. But the deeper they get into the case, the more complicated the mystery becomes, forcing them into a race against time before another child becomes a victim.
